1752-62 Gold Coin Venice Italy Zecchino Ducat Francesco Loredano KM 619 UNC MS62

Description: Beautiful gold coin showing no date from Venice Italy. This is a one Zacchino or Ducat from the times of Francesco Loredano in the period of 1752-1762. The coin shows St. Mark standing right, presenting cruciform staff to Doge kneeling left with the legend "FRANC • LAVRED / DVX / S M VENET" on the obverse. The reverse shows Christ the Redeemer standing facing forward within mandorla of fourteen stars. The reverse has the legend "SIT T XPE DAT Q TV REGIS ISTE DVCA" surrounding the image of Christ along the edge. The coin is undated but was issued during the period 1752-62. The coin is much better than the photos suggest. It is graded by NGC as MS 62 (Mint State 62) and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It is beautiful with nice eye appeal. It is KM 619, C 21, N# 110401, and Fr. 1405 weighing ~3.4 gm and measures ~22 mm. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description.

Size and weight: This is a one Zacchino or Ducat that is ~22 mm in diameter and weighs ~3.44 grams of 0.9990 gold (as noted on the slab).

Condition: The coin is uncirculated and is graded as Mint State 62 (MS 62) by NGC and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It is beautiful, problem free, and shows no wear. Its details are very well preserved and has a nice eye appeal with quite a bit of luster. The coin is much better than the photos suggest and would make a great addition to your collection.
