Description: A good very fine patriotic Civil War copper token. The token displays French Liberty Head with bonnet on facing left. The obverse has the date 1863 below the head and thirteen stars surrounding it along the edge. The reverse of the token has the legend "UNION FOR EVER" in the center surrounded by an open wreath secured at the base with two crossed swords. This token is listed by George and Melvin Fuld as 6/268. The token has a plain edge. It weighs ~3.3 gm and is ~19 mm in diameter. A nice patriotic Civil War token to add to your collection.
