1902 Mexico Banco De Tamaulipas 10 Pesos Remainder Banknote Cattle Scene P S430c
Description: A beautiful choice about uncirculated ten pesos remainder banknote issued by "El Banco De Tamaulipas" in Mexico. This is the undated issue series H banknote. The banknote, which represents an unsigned remainder, is printed in black on orange and light green underprint. The front depicts the image of cattle with a cowboy riding a horse in the background flanked by the denomination with the name of the bank on top. The front also displays the serial number, the series, and no signatures. The front also indicates that it was issued in Tampico. The back orange and has the image of two dogs at the edge of a lake with a man in a boat on the lake in the middle within a circle flanked by the denomination. The back also indicates that the note was printed by the "AMERICAN BANK NOTE COMPANY, NEW YORK". This particular note has the serial number 35881 printed in red twice on the front but not on the back. A nice note to add to your collection. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: Undated but was printed sometime between 1902 and 1914.
Printer: American Bank Note Co.
Size: The banknote measures ~7 1/8" by ~3 3/16".
Pick Number: S430c.
Condition: I would grade this note as choice about uncirculated with its detailed being well preserved. The note is clean and retains all of its stiffness, sheen, and crispiness. The note is intact with no tears, no splits, no graffiti, and no pinholes. The note has no folds, no bumps, shows nice embossing with its corners being fully squared and intact. The only thing we see is a stain at the top right corner which can be seen at the top left corner of the back. This is the reason we grade the note as AU++ instead of crip uncirculated. A nice fairly scarce note in about uncirculated condition to add to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
