1945 No Date Ethiopia 1 Dollar Banknote Emperor Haile Selassie P #12c Nice VF++
Description: A nice very fine or better Banknote from Ethiopia. This is the no date 1945 one dollar currency note issued by the State Bank of Ethiopia. The front of the banknote has black design on orange underprint and depicts the image of emperor Haile Selassie at left and the image of a farmer plowing the land with oxen dragging the plow in the center. The back, which is green in color, depicts the image of the Ethiopian Arms which is a crowned lion with a flagged cross in its paw. The banknote does not display the date anywhere. It displays the denomination on both the front and back. It has one signature on the front and is signed Rozell Jr. This particular note has the serial number FC106760 noted in red twice on the front. The note has no watermark or a security thread that we could find. A nice very fine or better note that would make a nice addition to your collection. Condition: I would grade the banknote as a nice very fine or better. The note is generally clean with minor soiling and no stains, except for some red and blue dots on the back and one faint red dot on the front which we believe are from the printing process. The note is intact and has very well-preserved details. It has one vertical central crease and a light fold on an angel that is hard to see. Its edges are intact with minor roughness, and the corners are intact with minimum rounding. The note has no pinholes, no graffiti, no tears and no splits. This is very nice note worthy of a spot in your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
