Description: A great looking about uncirculated Banknote from Ethiopia. This is the June 1st, 1933 Two Thalers currency note issued by the Bank of Ethiopia. The front of the banknote is dark blue and green on multicolor background.  The front depicts the image of  emperor Haile Selassie and empress Menen Asfaw in the center with inscription in Amharic, French, and English. The back is blue with a guilloche pattern and inscribed in Amharic, French and English. The front shows the serial number and one signature of the governor of the Bank of Ethiopia at the time. This particular note has the serial number F/1 042,438, which is displayed in black twice on the front. The note has no watermark and no security thread. It is graded About Uncirculated 53 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Please carefully review the scans as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The banknote is graded About Uncirculated 53 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The banknote has all of its details very well preserved. The note is intact and has no tears or splits. It is clean with no observable stains and shows minor signs of circulation. The note has no pinholes and no graffiti. The corners are intact and squared. Its edges are intact and do not show roughness. A nice rare note to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
