Three Antique Pewter Tablespoons Marked C Parker & Co. Heart & Leaves Decoration
Description: A set of three large pewter table or soup spoons made in the USA The spoons are marked "C. Parker & Co." on the back of the handles. The spoons have a small heart design at the base of the handle on the front and raised design depicting an arrangement of leaves on the back at the top of the bowl. Very well-done cast pewter spoons which were made in Connecticut sometime in the late 1800s to early 1900s. Just a nice set of antique pewter spoons which would display nicely and would make a great addition to your collection. Date: Uncertain but were made sometime in the late 19th century or early 20th century (Late 1800s -early 1900s).
Origin: Connecticut USA. Size: The spoons are ~8 3/8" long with the bowl being ~1 3/4" at its widest and ~3 1/4" long. All three spoons together weigh about 6 ounces.
Maker: Charles Parker & Co.
Marks: Marked on the back of the handle with the marl "C. PARKER & Co."
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice lot of table spoons worthy of a spot in your antique pewter collection.
Condition: The spoons are in very good condition. They are intact with no breaks or repairs. They have some scratches and a few minor stains.
