Description: Offered here is a lot of three vintage Valentine’s Day cards.  These are stand-up mechanical cards with moveable parts. The first is a boy which moves his arm to present a red apple with the words "VALENTINE GREETINGS". The second is a boy dressed as a matador which can move his arms and thus moving his red cape and has the message "Valentine, I am not throwing any bull with me you sure do have some pull". The third piece is a girl wearing a yellow hat and holding a heart saying, "Valentine Greetings". Her eyes move when her head is moved. She has the message "Hear me little sunbeam. You sure will be my Valentine, if I have my way; And you're going to be all mine, I have my say." Both boy valentines are made in the US while the girl Valentine is made in Germany. All three pieces are of the stand-up type and have a supporting strip on the back. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: All three are vintage of uncertain date but most likely early to mid 20th century.

Size: The Matador is ~6 5/8" tall, the Boy with apple is ~6 3/4" tall, and the girl is ~7 1/4" tall.

Condition: The mechanical parts of all three Valentines move easily. They all are intact and clean on the front and have a stain or two on the back. They have no creases or tears. They all have some writing in pencil on the back, but nothing that represents a problem. We believe the writing can be erased but we leave that to the discretion of the next owner. Overall, the cards are in very good condition.  Please view the photos for additional condition information.
