Beautiful Swiss Gold Coin 1896B Twenty Francs NGC MS 62 Swiss Confederation

Description: A beautiful gold coin from the Swiss Confederation or Switzerland. This is the 1896B twenty francs Swiss coin issued by the Swiss Confederation. The coin depicts the image of a woman's bust with a wreath in her hair surrounded by the word CONFEDERATIO HELVTICA on the obverse. The woman's hair is held together with tiara having the word "LIBERTAS" on it. The reverse has shield having the Swiss cross dividing the denomination all surrounded by a wreath with the date 1896 under the shield and the letter "B" in the bottom. This is a very nice gold coin weighing about 6.4516 grams of 90%25 purity gold that is shiny and having great eye appeal. This coin is of low mintage with only 400,000 pieces minted. The coin comes in a slab and is graded by Numismatic Guarantee Corporation as MS 62. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Size and Weight: This is a twenty francs weighing 6.4516 grams and measuring about 21 mm in diameter.

Condition: The coin comes in a plastic slab and is graded by NGC as Uncirculated Mint State MS 62. It has some minor scratches throughout as well as a few light bag marks.
