Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice piece of Americana that would display nicely in any collection.

Condition: The bucket is in very good condition and looks good to display. The piece has no breaks or repairs. It shows signs of rust all along the bottom edge and on the squared pull on top of the lid. It has enamel losses on the inside especially along the bottom edge. It also has a chip with associated enamel losses on the exterior of the lid which shows rust signs. The edge of the bucket has lost quite a bit of its black coloring as you can see in the photos. The edge of the lid has also lost the enameling with both edges showing signs of rust. The wooden grip within the wire handle has lost some of its original coloring and has scratches and nicks as well as some minor losses. The swivel wire handle shows signs of rust but is solid and intact. It does have one or two additional small spots on the exterior and interior where the enameling is lost and show some minor rust signs. Be that as it may this is a very nice old piece worthy of a spot in your collection. Please view photos for additional condition information.
