Lot of Two Adorable Byers Choice Kindles Man in Sweater and Scarf Woman Baker with Pastry
Description: This is a lot of two Byers Choice kindles. We are selling the pair together as found. The pair consist of two previously owned kindle characters one is of a young man in wearing a beige sweater, hat, and red scarf while the second is of a young woman wearing a baker's outfit consisting of a white jacket and a chef's hat. She is holding what looks like a baked cupcake, a piece of pastry, or piece of candy in a paper wrapper or liner. They are both set bent into a sitting position and look great together. Of course you can change that position since Kindles are completely pose-able... they can be made to stand, sit, kneel, etc. Both characters have brown hair and red cheeks. they are both wearing green pants, the young man has plaid pants while the young woman's pants are decorated with Christmas designs of red ribbons and candy canes. The young man is wearing red shoes while the young woman has green shoes. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: Uncertain but most likely late 1900s (the young man is dated 1997).
Origin: These are made in Montgomeryville, Pennsylvania.
Size: Both pieces measure ~7" in height, when fully stretched. Both pieces together weigh a bit over 4 ounces.

Marks: Marked Kindle Ornament on the bottom of the young woman's shoe and marked Kindle Creations (c) 1997 on the bottom of the young man's shoe.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: Very nice Christmas Ornaments that are highly collectible. Two pieces to add to your collection for the price of one.
Condition: The two pieces are in relatively good used condition. The young man has lost three of his fingers in his right hand, other than that he is in good original condition. The young girl baker has some glue in her hair, the candy is a bit wobbly on her arm but is still held to the sleeve, the paper wrapper is a bit out of shape, and has a small loss of paint on the tip of of her nose. Other than that the pieces have light spoiling but other than that they are is good original condition. Please see photos for additional condition information.
