1981 Vintage Bone China Colorful English Royal Doulton Figurine Susan Holding Pet Cat Up N. H. 2952
Description: A nice 1981 porcelain or bone china figurine of a lady standing in a beautiful log two tone ruffled blue and pink dress holding her cat up in the air in loving gesture. The blue portion of her dress is light blue below the waist and cobalt blue at her chest. The pink portion of the dress is on the front and extends to her sleeves. She is holding what we believe is a white cat up in the air and is looking at it lovingly. This is a piece of hand painted and nicely crafted bone china from the Royal Doulton company. It is titled Susan and has the number N. H. 2952. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: This figurine is dated 1981.
Origin: England.
Size: It is ~7 7/8" high, with the base being by ~4 1/4" by ~4". The figurine weighs slightly over one pound and 2 ounces.
Maker: Royal Doulton, originally a Pauline Parsons Creation.
Marks: Has the Royal Doulton mark and is also marked "SUSAN;N. H. 2952; (c) ROYAL DOULTON TABLEWARE LTD 1981" and has the number 50 written in green under glaze on the base.
Condition: The piece is in excellent condition with no breaks, cracks, chips, crazing to the glaze, or repairs. The piece shows some light soiling on the base,, but truly nothing to worry about.
