1951 Spain 50 Pesetas Pick Number 141 Beautiful Very Fine Banknote

  • $ 94.99

Description:  A beautiful very fine or better Banknote from Spain. This is the 31 December 1951, 50 Pesetas. The banknote has lilac red image coloring on multicolor under-print. It depicts the image of  Santiago Rusinol to the right  and a white circle at the left bottom of the front. The banknote displays the date and the denomination on the front and only the denomination on the back. The back depicts Rusinol's Jardines de Aranjuez scene (A garden scene with a statue in the center and trees on the perimeter) in red on a white background. It has three signatures on the front. This particular note has the serial number A3951028, which is displayed on the front once but four times on the back.  The paper of the note is thick and the note has some of its original crispiness left. The note has a water mark in the white circle showing Santiago Rusinol's head. Please carefully view scan as it is part and parcel of our  description.

Date: 31 December 1951.

Printer: Fca Nal De Moneda Y Timbre (FNMT).

Size: The banknote measures ~5 5/16" by ~3 3/8".

Pick Number: P 141.

Condition: I would grade this banknote as a very nice very fine or much better with all the details being very well preserved. The note has three vertical light creases and minor soiling. It also has a minor crease in the center of the bottom edge, which can be seen in the scan. The note has no graffiti, pinholes, splits, or tears. The  corners of the note have minimal rounding if any but are intact. The note has no splits and the edges are intact. Just a great piece to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
