1965 Bahamas 3 Dollar Uncirculated Banknote Queen Elizabeth II Signed Sands & Higgs

Description: A beautiful uncirculated 3 dollar banknote from the Bahamas. This is bank note introduced in 1966 by the Bahamas Government based on the Currency Note Act of 1965. It is red on multicolored underprint the front and depicts the image of crowned queen Elizabeth II to the left with the denomination, serial number and the signatures of Sands and Higgs. The back, which is very colorful, shows the image of the sunbathers on Paradise Beach with yellow elder flowers to the left and the Bahamas' coat of arms to the right. The note has a watermark depicting a conch shell and has a solid security thread to the left of center. This note was printed by Thomas de La Rue of London in the United Kingdom. Condition: I would grade this bank note as uncirculated with all of its details being well preserved. The colors are crisp and fresh and the note is clean with no staining. It has no folds, no pinholes, no graffiti and no tears or splits. Its edges are intact and the corners are squared and have no rounding, no bumps and no folding.
