1965 Spain 1000 Pesetas Pick Number 151 Beautiful Very Fine Banknote

  • $ 94.99

Description:  A beautiful very fine or better Banknote from Spain. This is the 19 November 1966, 1000 Pesetas. The banknote has a green image on multicolor under-print. It depicts the image of  San Isidoro at left and a white area with serial number on top to the right of the front. The  banknote displays the date and the denomination on the front but only  the denomination on the back. The back also has a green design on a white background.  The design depicts an imaginary figure with a basilica behind it. The back also has a white circle to the left near the top where the water mark is. The note has three signatures on the front. This particular note has the serial number U0065082, which is displayed twice on the front but not on the back.  The paper of the note is thick and the note has some of its original crispiness left. The note has a water mark within the white circle on the back, which depicts San Isidoro. Please carefully view scan as it is part and parcel of our  description.

Date: 19 November 1966.

Printer: Fca Nal De Moneda Y Timbre (FNMT).

Size: The banknote measures ~6 1/4" by ~4".

Pick Number: P 151.

Condition: I would grade this banknote as a very nice very fine or better with all the details being very well preserved. The note has a vertical and another horizontal crease. It also has many minor creases throughout and some minor soiling. The note has no graffiti, pinholes, splits, or tears. The  corners of the note have minimal rounding if any but are intact. The corners also have some creases, which can be seen in the scan. The note has no splits and the edges are intact. Just a great piece to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
