1971 France 100 Francs Banknote Pick No. 149d Pierre Corneille Choice AU 58 EPQ
Description: A beautiful choice about uncirculated banknote with exceptional paper quality from France. This is the no date 1971-1974 one hundred francs or Cent Francs. The banknote is multicolored with the image of Pierre Corneille, the famous French tragedy writer, in the center of the front. The back of the note is also multi-colored and shows the bust of Pierre Corneille in the center within a multi-lobed frame. This particular note has the serial number 2046112556 and is series M.819. It is undated but has the signatures of Vergnes, Bouchet, and Morant suggesting that it was issued in the period 1971-1974 and makes it Pick # 149d. The banknote has two watermarks the one on the left depicts the laureated of Augustus and the one on the right is the head of Horacius wearing a helmet in profile. The banknote is graded Choice About Uncirculated 58 EPQ by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
