1987 Scotland Clydesdale Bank PLC Five Pounds Banknote P#212d Choice UNC.

Description: A beautiful uncirculated banknote issued by the Clydesdale Bank PLC of Glasgow Scotland. This is the 18th September 1987 five pounds currency note. This banknote is blue on multi-colored underprint. It depicts the image of Robert Bums at left on the front. The back has the same color scheme as the front and depicts the image of a field mouse and a rose representing lines from Bums' poems. The front displays one signature in black, the denomination, the date, and the serial number with series. This particular note has the serial number 187545 and is series D/JP. The banknote has a watermark depicting old sailing ships repeated vertically. The note also has a security thread to the right of center. Condition: I would grade this banknote as choice uncirculated in pristine condition. The banknote shows no signs of circulation, is clean and great looking. It has no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears and no splits. It retains all of its original stiffness, crispiness and sheen. Its edges show no roughness and its corners are fully squared with no apparent rounding. A nice problem free banknote that is very attractive to add to your collection.
