Description: A nice very fine banknote from Ireland Republic. This is the 14-04-92 ten pounds bank note issued by the Central Bank of Ireland. The note which is violet and purple on multicolored underprint shows the bust of Jonathan Swift on the right of the front. The back which has the same color scheme as the front shows an old street map of Dublin with ships on the river Liffy. The note is written in Gallic on the front and English on the back. It shows the date, the serial number, and the denomination on the front with two signatures. This particular note has the serial number 061622 and the prefix LHB. It has a watermark depicting the image of Lady Hazel Lavery and has a security thread left of center. Please carefully review the scans as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: The note is dated 14.04.92 or April 14, 1992.

Printer: Central Bank of Ireland.

Size: Measures ~6 1/2" by ~3 3/8".

Pick Number: P 72c and is listed in the Banknote Book B217c.

Condition: I would grade this banknote as very fine with all the details being well preserved. The note has several vertical folds, horizontal folds, general wrinkling, and several creases. It is intact with no tears or splits and its corners are also intact, squared with some rounding. The note is lightly soiled but has no objectionable stains. It has no graffiti, no pinholes, and no losses. Its edges are intact with general roughness and a few short nicks. The colors of the note are still vivid and show no fading. A nice note to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
