1999 Northern Ireland 5 Pounds Sterling Polymer Banknote Commemorate Millennium

Description: A nice uncirculated banknote from Northern Ireland. This is the October 8, 1999 five pounds sterling currency note. The banknote, which is made of Guardian polymer and not paper, was issued by the "Northern Bank" with head office located in Belfast. It is blue, red and multicolor. The front shows transparent globe and sun with oval lines. The front also shows the serial number, the denomination, the name of the bank, the date, and one signature. The back has the same color scheme as the front and has the image of the space shuttle, electronics, and globe. This particular note has the serial number MM1405411 displayed twice on the front once in red and once in black. The note has a water mark depicting a star. Size: The banknote measures ~5 3/8" by ~2 3/4".

Pick Number: P 203a and is listed in the Banknote Book as B432a.

Condition: I would grade this banknote as uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The note has no soiling, no stains, no graffiti, no pinholes, no tears, and no splits. It has no folds, no bumps, and no wrinkling. The corners are intact fully squared with no observable rounding. The edges are intact and show no signs of roughness.
