2006 Banknote Switzerland 50 Francs S. Taeuber-Arp P 71c Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ

Description: A beautiful gem uncirculated banknote from Switzerland. This is the 50 Francs currency note issued by The Swiss National Bank in Bern and Zurich in 2006. The note is deep green and purple on multi-0colored underprint. It shows the image of the crafts woman and sculptor Sophie Taeuber-Arp. The note shows examples of her art work throughout. The note has a vertical orientation and is rather very interesting. The front of the note shows the denomination and the name of the issuing bank in the four official Swiss languages. The back, which has the same color scheme as the front, shows some examples of Ms. Taeuber-Arp abstract art work, the denomination in numerals and spelled out in the four official Swiss languages and two signatures. The note shows the denomination on the front and back in multiple locations throughout. It has two signatures and the serial number on the back. The banknote has a watermark showing the image of Sophie Taeuber-Arp. This particular note has the serial number 06F0511812, which is shown in black and red on the back. The note is graded Gen Uncirculated 66 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled.
