Description: A choice fine banknote from Palestine. This is the Jerusalem 30th September 1929 one pound banknote issued by the Palestine Currency Board. The front of the banknote is green and black in color and depicts the dome of the rock left of center. The front also shows the name of the issuing entity, the serial number and three signatures. The back is green and has the image of the citadel of Jerusalem commonly known as the tower of David in the center. The note is in English, Arabic and Hebrew. This particular note has the serial number E512697 written twice in black on the front. It has a watermark depicting an olive spring. The note is graded Choice Fine 15 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The banknote is graded Choice Fine 15 by PMG. The note comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The note is soiled, has some staining, roughness along the edges, rounded corners, and several folds as well as creases. The note has no graffiti, but has a small hole in the center resulting from excessive folding over the years.
