ND 1969 Isle Of Man Fifty New Pence Banknote Signed Stallard Queen Elizabeth Pick 27 Crisp About Uncirculated

  • $ 49.99

Description: A nice crisp about uncirculated or much better fifty new pence banknote from the Isle of Man. This banknote, which is not dated was introduced in 1969. It is signed by Peter Stallard the Lieutenant Governor of The Isle Of Man in the period 1967-1974. The front of the note is blue on multicolored underprint and depicts the bust of Queen Elizabeth II to the right with the Triskelion in the center. The back is also blue and shows a Viking ship. The front displays the denomination, Stallard's signature, and the serial number, while the back only displays the denomination. The note has a solid security thread right of center and a watermark showing the Triskelion. This particular note has the serial number 046307 without a prefix. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: For international buyers, please note that the new US postal rates for overseas shipping are very high and we are unable to change them. Additional charges will be incurred depending on the value of the item. Please check the cost of shipping before bidding. I would grade this banknote as crisp about uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The note has no wrinkling, no graffiti, no splits, no soiling, no stains, no pinholes, and no tears. The note has all of its original crispiness and is just beautiful and in great original condition. The edges are intact as are the corners which are fully squared showing no rounding or bumps. The only issue we see is two minor light partial folds or long bumps, which we believe are not from circulation but rather from bank teller handling. This is the main reason we grade the note as Crisp AU instead of Crisp Uncirculated. Be that as it may, this is a beautiful note to add to your collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
