ND 1994 Northern Ireland Five Pounds Sterling Banknote Bank of Ireland Belfast Pick 70c Harrison Signature Crisp Uncirculated

Description: A nice crisp uncirculated banknote from Northern Ireland. This is the July 1, 1994 five pounds sterling currency note. The banknote was issued by the "Bank of Ireland" in Donegall Place in Belfast. It is blue and purple on multicolored underprint on the front. It has a the bank seal with Hibernia seated to the left of the front. The back has the same color scheme as the front and has the image Queen's University in Belfast. The front shows the signature of Harrison as manager, the serial number and the denomination both in numerals and spelled out. This particular note has the serial number Q988246 displayed twice on the front once in red and once in black. The banknote has a watermark depicting the head of Medusa.
