Netherlands Bank Banknote 29 April 1929 Issue Fifty Gulden P#47 PMG 25 Very Fine

Description: This is a nice very fine banknote from the Netherlands. This is the 29 April 1929 Nederlandsche Bank or Netherland Bank issue fifty Gulden. The note shows the image of Minerva with a helmet on in gray-blue right of center of the front all on a geometric background having the name of the bank and denomination written within it. The front also depicts the name of the bank, the denomination, and two signatures. The back of the note is brown and gray-blue on a multicolored underprint and shows the denomination as well as the serial number. This particular note has the serial number AY074570 which is shown twice in black on the back. It has a watermark depicting an orange or similar fruit on a branch with leaves. It is graded by PMG as 25 very fine and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. It does have some graffiti on the front and is noted on the back of the holder as Annotation. Other than that this is a great looking note which would make a great addition to your collection. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The banknote is graded by PMG as 25 very fine and comes in a plastic holder so labeled, It has minor graffiti in the form of the number "17." in ink on the front and is noted on the holder as Annotation. Other than that the note is clean, intact with rounded corners with minor folds and creases.
