Antique Cast Iron Still Penny Bank Owl Standing Vindex Toys Belvidere IL

  • $ 247.77

Description: Antique and rather uncommon very nice painted cast iron still penny bank. The bank is cast in the form of an owl standing on a square platform with its ears and large round yellow eyes. The bank is colored in off-white coloring on the front and gray on the back and sides. The bank is made of two parts held together with a screw , which appears to be original to the bank. The casting is very well done and shows great details of the owl's face and plumage as well as its ears and toes. The bank appears to be all original and retains most of its original paint. It has the coin slot on the back of the owl's head. This is a very nice looking uncommon penny bank in very good condition.
