Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a nice pair of bookends with a beautiful and very desirable turn of the 20th century design. A beautiful set of bookends of substantial construction. Combined they weigh over 5 pounds. Just a beautiful set of bookends, which deserve a spot in your collection or on your shelves.

Condition: The bookends are in very good condition with no breaks, repairs or dings that we could find. They do have wear to the finish, some rust spots , some loss of bronzing, and a few spots on the edge of the base in both pieces where the finish is lost and you see a white coloring. Finally, the felt covering the base is soiled, shows stains and has losses near the edge where a rust coloring has developed. We believe the pieces are solid and would clean very well if you so desire. All of the issues highlighted here are commensurate with their age and utilitarian function. Please see photos for additional condition details.
