1976-78 Blown Art Glass Ball-shaped Paperweight Two Red Flowers on Green By Chris Buzzini Bridgeton Studio New Jersey
Description: A very nice blown art glass paperweight having a ball shape and a flat base. This beautiful paperweight has a very colorful design with two small red flowers having yellow centers entwined by green-brown vines over concentric light brown lines, which all lie above a light green ground. The flowers are on the top of the paperweight while its sides display concentric light brown lines covering the green background coloring almost to the top where it can be seen behind the flowers. Just a gorgeous design that is difficult to describe, but beautiful to look at. This heavy paperweight (weighs over 13 ounces) is very nice looking and has a nice shape and feel. It was made at The Bridgeton Studio in New Jersey by Chris Buzzini. It is very well done and very colorful. Just a great paperweight worthy of a spot in your collection of better paperweights. Date: Undated. However, Chris Buzzini was active at Bridgeton Studio in the period 1976-1978 so the paperweight was made during that period.
Origin: Purchased in an estate auction in Southern New Jersey. Made in the USA.
Size: The base is ~2" in diameter while the piece is ~2 1/4" high and is ~2 1/2" in diameter at its widest. The paperweight weighs over 13 ounces.

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: A beautiful piece with a colorful design that very seldom comes by. A very nice quality piece worthy of a prominent spot in your collection.
Condition: The paperweight is in excellent condition and has no cracks, hairlines, chips, or repairs. The piece has some minor scratches to the surface and some small bubbles throughout the piece which are original to the making. Please see photos for additional condition information.
