Vintage Orange Iridescent Glass Powder Box or Jar Poodle Figure on Lid

Description:   A beautiful iridescent marigold, peach, or orange colored glass (very reminiscent of Carnival Glass) round powder jar or box having a lid with a figurine of a poodle dog on top. The jar has a flat base and straight flared sides rising to a plain rim where a lid would fit. The lid is round and has a figuring of a dog on top. The dog is standing on four legs and represents a fully groomed French poodle. The base of the jar is ribbed while the rest of the box has smooth surfaces. The dog figurine is textured to mimic the dog's fur or hair. Very interesting!! The piece comes with what we believe is the original powder puff. Size:  Base is ~3 1/4" in diameter, the piece is about 4" at its widest point and is ~6 1/8" high. It weighs about one and a quarter pounds.  

Maker:  Unknown. 

Marks:  Unmarked.  Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece:  This is definitely a beautiful piece of vintage iridescent glass. 

Condition:  It is in excellent condition with no cracks, hairlines, chips or repairs. The powder puff is relatively clean but smells of powder. It does have a stain which can be seen in the photos. Definitely a nice piece which would display nicely.
