Description: Beautiful abut uncirculated gold coin from Sardinia Italy. This is the 1826 Twenty Lire showing the head of Carlo Felice on the obverse and crowned arms on the reverse. The shows the bust of Carlo Felice facing left with the legend "CAR.FELIX D.G. REX SAR.CP. ET HIER" along the edge surrounding the bust on the obverse. The reverse shows a crowned spade shaped shield with the Savoy Eagle between two oak branches with the denomination "L.20" dividing the mint marks on the bottom. The reverse also has the legend "DVX SAB.GENVAE ET MONTISF.PRINC.PED&" along the edge of the coin. The coin also has edge lettering "FERT - FERT- FERT". The coin should weigh 6.45 grams of 0.900 gold and measures ~20 millimeters in diameter. It is graded About Uncirculated AU58 by NGC and comes in a plastic holder so labeled.
