1807 Copper Coin From Great Britain Farthing King George III Laureate Bust MS62

Description: A nice toned uncirculated mint state 1807 quarter penny or farthing copper coin from the United Kingdom. The coin, which has reeding in the center of the edge (very unusual), displays the bust of King George III wearing a Laureate in his hair and facing right on the obverse. The reverse displays Britannia seated while holding a branch in her right hand and a trident in her left hand. Britannia is resting on a shield. The coin has the words "GEORGIUS III.D.G.REX." surrounding the king's bust with the date 1807 below it on the obverse. The reverse is marked "BRITANNIA" above the seated Britannia. This is KM 661 and measures about ~22 mm in diameter. The coin is graded Mint State MS62 BN by PCGS and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. A beautifully toned coin in superb condition worthy of a spot in your collection of British coins. Please carefully review the photos provided as they are part and parcel of our description.
