1940s Roseville Art Pottery Blue Bushberry Footed Bowl w/ Two Handles 412-6"
Description: A most beautiful, very uncommon, and rather scarce blue colored art pottery footed shallow bowl with two handles by the Roseville Pottery Company. This bowl is in the Bushberry pattern. It was made in early to late 1940s. It shows large three-section leaves having saw tooth edges with clusters of berries and woody looking handles. Origin: Roseville, Ohio
Size: Base measures ~3 1/4" in diameter at the base, ~3" high, ~6 1/4" in diameter at the top, and is ~8 1/2" at its widest including both handles. The bowl weighs almost 14 ounces.
Maker: Roseville Pottery Company Marks: In relief on the bottom "Roseville, U. S. A.412-6"”.
Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly nice piece which is very difficult to come by. Its colors are rich, fresh, and vivid and the piece would display very well in your collection.
Condition: The bowl is in good condition with no cracks, hairlines, repairs, or crazing to the glaze. Its colors are fresh, vivid, and great looking. The bowl has a small chip to the top edge, which we show in the third and the last photo. Be that as it may, this is a great looking piece to add to your collection or use as a decorative accent around your home.
