1940s Roseville Art Pottery Blue Bushberry Pair of Double Cornucopia 155-8"

Description: A most beautiful, very uncommon, and rather scarce blue colored art pottery pair of double cornucopia vases made by the Roseville Pottery Company. This cornucopia vases are in the Bushberry pattern. It was made in early to late 1940s. It shows large three-section leaves having saw tooth edges with clusters of berries and woody looking handles. Date: Early to late 1940s.

Origin: Roseville, Ohio.

Size: The base measures ~5 1/4" by ~3 3/4" and the piece is ~8 3/4" at its longest, ~5" at its widest, and ~6 1/4" at its highest. The pair together weigh about 3 pounds.

Maker: Roseville Pottery Company.

Marks: In relief on the bottom "Roseville, U. S. A. 155-8"”. 

Distinguishing Characteristics - Most Interesting About The Piece: This is a truly nice piece which is very difficult to come by. Its colors are rich, fresh, and vivid and the piece would display very well in your collection.  

Condition: The two pieces are in very good condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Both pieces have some crazing to the glaze, which is difficult to see but is there. The colors are fresh, vivid, and the pieces are great looking. A great looking pair of unusual double cornucopia vases to add to your collection or use as a decorative accent around your home.
