This coin is one of the FAO series and it celebrates Egyptian Rural Girl Progress. The obverse of the coin depicts the image of a kneeling girl with a book in her hand and books next to her all within a rural setting showing a village, tractor and birds in the background. And just to show that this is Egypt, the Pyramids and a shining sun are also in the background. The reverse of the coin has the date both in Hijri and Gregorian as well as the denomination. The reverse also has indication that it is a coin from the Arab Republic of Egypt. It is a proof coin with a mintage of 3000 piece, listed as KM-513, and weighs 15 grams of 0.72 silver. I would grade this coin as uncirculated proof having a beautiful cameo look with all of its details being well preserved and mirror like fields. It is beautiful with no wear that we could find and is problem free. It does have a few scratches and some minor bag marks all of which can be seen in the photos. Just a great looking coin which would make a great addition to your collection. Please see photo for condition information.
