The coin has a spread eagle within a wreath with the date below on the obverse. The obverse also has the legend "POST*TENEBRA*LUX" along the edge. The reverse shows the denomination within a radient circle with the legend ""EGALITE*LIBERTE*INDEPENDANCE" surrounding it along the edge. This is a great looking coin with nice toning and nice eye appeal. Please carefully review the photos as they are part and parcel of our description.

Size and Weight: This is a 15 sols weighing ~3.2 gm of silver and measuring about 23.5 mm in diameter.

Condition: I would grade the coin as a beautiful extremely fine or better. The coin is nicely toned with great eye appeal. It has all of its details well preserved commensurate with its circulated state. It has some minor scratches throughout as well as a few light nicks and bag marks. The coin also has some staining or soiling within the lettering, which can be seen in the photos. It looks much better than the photos suggest. This is a beautiful coin which would make a worthy addition to your Swiss coin collection. Please see photo for additional condition information.
