Description: A beautiful very fine banknote from Fiji. This is the no date 1974 bank note issued by the Central Monetary Authority of Fiji. This is the ten dollars note having a purple design on orange and purple underprint. The design depicts the bust of a young Queen Elizabeth to right of the front facing left and forward. The front also has the Fiji arms in the top center. The back is purple and shows the denomination. The front has the denomination, two signatures, and the serial number while the back has the denomination only. This particular note has the serial number A/3455510 which is printed in black twice on the front. The note has a watermark depicting a Fijian man's head. The note also has a solid security thread. A nice banknote to add to your collection. Please carefully review the scans as they are part and parcel of our description.

Date: The note is undated but known to have been introduced in 1974.

Printer: Thomas De La Rue Limited.

Size: Measures ~6 1/4" by ~3".

Pick Number: P 74b and listed in the Banknote Book as B405b.

Condition: I would grade the note as a nice very fine. The note has several vertical folds, a light horizontal fold, general wrinkling, and some light soiling. The note appears to have been flattened. It has light roughness to the edges with minor nicks at the ends of the folds. It has no stains, no pinholes, no graffiti, no tears, and no splits. The corners are intact with minor rounding and a few bumps. A beautiful banknote to add to your collection . Please see photo for additional condition information.
