The coin weighs ~2.4 gm and is ~25 mm in diameter. The piece is toned with good eye appeal. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: 1806.
Mint: Switzerland.
Size and weight: This is a one Batzen, weigh ~2.4 grams and is ~25 mm in diameter.
References: This is KM 8.
Condition: I would grade the coin as extremely fine. It is toned with good eye appeal. It shows signs of wear commensurate with its age and circulated state. It has a few minor scratches and bag marks. The coin also shows small areas of roughness on both sides suggesting striking problems, these can be seen on the bottom of the 1 through the B on the obverse and coming from the bottom of the E in DE through the shield on the reverse. Be that as it may, these appear to be original to the striking and do not distract from the coin's quality. Because the coin id=s not perfect, we are selling it "AS IS" at a fraction of its true value. The coin is in good original circulated condition making it a worthy addition to any collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
