Description: A set of four large pewter table or soup spoons made in Lititz, Pennsylvania, USA The spoons have the touch mark of Jay Thomas Stauffer consisting of the letters JTS within an oval on the back of the handles. Jay Stauffer worked in Lititz Pennsylvania as pewterer in the period 1970-2010. The spoons have a central raised portion on the top of the end of the handles and the handle has a raised portion where it meets the bowl oof the spoon on the back. Very well-done cast spoons by a great modern pewterer who died in September 2012 making his wear highly desirable. Just a nice set of vintage pewter spoons which would display nicely and would make a great addition to your collection. Date: Uncertain but were made sometime in the late 20th century or early 21st century (Late 1900s -early 2000s).
Origin: Lititz Pennsylvania, USA.
Size: The spoons are ~7 1/2" long with the bowl being ~1 3/4" at its widest and ~2 7/8" long. All four spoons together weigh about 9 ounces.

Condition: The spoons are in very good condition. They are intact with no breaks or repairs. They have some scratches and a few minor stains.
