1774 Lima MJ Crown Size Peru Silver Coin 8 Reales King Charles III NGC AU 55
Description: A nicely toned, About uncirculated Peruvian crown size silver coin. This is an eight reales silver coin. The coin depicts the bust of King Charles III of Spain facing right on the obverse. The bust is surrounded with the legend "CAROLUS*III*DEI*GRATIA*1774" along the edge. The reverse has the crowned Spanish arms surrounded by two pillars. The reverse has the legend "HISPAN.ET.IND.REX.LIMAE.8R.M.J." with the LIMAE mint mark in monogram. The coin has the edge with raised rectangles and circles. It is nicely toned, has nice eye appeal, is graded as AU55 by NGC, and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. This is KM 78, should weigh ~27 grams and is ~38 mm in diameter. Please carefully review the scan presented as it is part and parcel of our description.

Condition: The coin is graded by NGC as About Uncirculated (AU) 55 and comes in a plastic holder so labeled. The coin is nicely toned and has nice eye appeal. It is in original almost uncirculated condition and looks great. It is better than the scan shows. It has minimum wear commensurate with its age and about uncirculated status.
