1858 Nice About Fine Large Letters Flying Eagle Copper-Nickel Cent or Penny
Description: A nice about fine copper-nickel Flying Eagle cent or penny. This coin represents a specimen of the large letter variety 1858 issue (please review the scans to confirm the variety). The coin is better than the photos suggest and shows wear commensurate with its age and use. The coin shows a flying eagle with the words "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA" surrounding it and the date below on the obverse. The reverse shows the denomination spelled out within a wreath. This is a nice looking coin, which shows a beautiful design with no obvious detrimental issues. These coins were designed by James Longacre. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: 1858.

Condition: I would grade the coin as very good to about fine. The coin appears to be problem free with honest wear commensurate with its age and circulated state. It has wear to the front and back. The wear is throughout and evenly distributed. Please see photos for details. A nice coin to add to your collection. Please see photos for additional condition information.
