Description: An extremely fine Civil War Patriotic copper token. The token displays the image the US Flag, having 25 stars and 6 bars, surrounded by 13 stars with the word THE FLAG OF OUR UNION along the edge and having no date below the flag but has a diamond at the base. The reverse shows the words "IF ANYBODY ATTEMPTS TO TEAR IT DOWN*/SHOOT HIM**ON THE SPOT**/ DIX" with the word DIX being within a central dotted circle on the reverse. The token has a plain edge, weighs ~3 grams and is ~19.3 mm in diameter. It is Fuld 214/416a with a rarity index R-1. Condition: I would grade this token as extremely fine with all the details being well preserved and having even and honest light ware. The token is light in color and shows some scratches as well as bag marks. It has a few minor and light dings along the edge on both sides. The token has a nice light patina and has nice eye appeal. In general, this is a nice token in extremely fine state of preservation. A nice and well-preserved patriotic Civil War token, with rarity index R-1, to add to your collection.
