1872 Bolivia Large Silver Coin Un Beliviano Mint Mark PTS About Uncirculated PCGS AU58

Description: A beautiful 1872 large about uncirculated silver coin from Bolivia. This is the one or un Boliviano PCGS AU58 1872 PTS FE Bolivian silver coin. The obverse of this large, silver dollar size coin, has flags and weapons crossed behind the condor topped arms of Bolivia. The central design is surrounded by the legend "REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA" along the edge. The reverse Shows the denomination and an indication that the coin weighs 25 grams of 90% silver in the center within a wreath all surrounded by the legend "PTS LA UNION ES LAFURZA F.E." and the date below it. The coin is beautiful and retains quite a bit of its original mint luster. It is KM 160.1, weighs 25 grams and measures about 35 millimeters. The coin is graded as About Uncirculated AU58 by PCGS and comes in a plastic holder so marked. This is a superb coin that would make a great addition to your collection. Note Krause Catalog of World Coins does not list any grade higher than XF40 for this variety and as such this is a relatively scarce coin because of its grade.
