1910 Banco Nacional De Mexico Five Pesos Banknote Series N4 P #S257c PCGS VF 30
Description: A beautiful very fine five pesos banknote issued by "Banco Nacional De Mexico" in Mexico. This is the March 1st, 1910 issue banknote. The banknote is printed in black over a yellow and brown underprint. The front depicts the image of a seated female reading (Literature) to the left and the portrait of M. Garcia Teruel within an oval to the right. The front also displays the date, denomination, and four signatures. The front also has a red round seal left of center near the top. The back is brown with the image of Christopher Columbus discovering America in circular frame in the center. The back has a blue scalloped treasury seal near the top left corner. This particular note has the serial number 1213349 printed in red twice on the front but not on the back. This is a series N4 as evident in the right bottom corner of the front. There is also the red notation M2 in the left bottom corner of the front. The banknote is graded 30 Very Fine by PCGS and comes in a plastic holder so labeled.
