1914 Tesoreria De La Federacion 10 Centavos Banknote Guaymas Sonora Mexico S1058
Description: A beautiful choice uncirculated ten centavos banknote issued by "La Tesoreria De La Federacion" in Guaymas Sonora, Mexico. This is the March 16, 1914 issue series D banknote. The banknote is printed in black and red on yellow background. It shows the Mexico eagle with the serpent in its beak in the right hand top corner on the front. The back is green in color and shows a harbor scene in the center flanked by the denomination. There are ships in the harbor, a city in the distance and a mountain in the background. The front has two signatures, the date and the serial number. This particular note has the serial number 278787 printed in black once in the top left corner and it is series "D". The back has the notation "LIT."LA NACIONAL"-MAZATLAN-A. DIAZDE LEONE HIJOS" in the bottom margin in green. The note is graded Choice Uncirculated 64 by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled.
