1942 French West Africa Twenty Five Francs Banknote Pick Number 30a Crisp Uncirculated
Description: A beautiful crisp uncirculated banknote from French West Africa. This is the December 14, 1942 issue twenty five francs banknote. The note has a black design on green background on the front. The design depicts a native woman facing forward in an oval to the left of the front. The back is blue on orange with a central image of a plane approaching the beach with palm trees. The note was issued by the Bank of Western Africa. The note has no watermark and no security strip. This particular note has the serial number 0220227 and has the block letter H in both the right and left top corners of the front. The note has two signatures on the front. It is clean uncirculated and retains all of its original stiffness and crispiness. Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description.

Condition: I would grade the banknotes as crisp uncirculated with all the details being very well preserved. The note shows no signs of circulation but shows signs of minor handling in the form of light soiling at a couple of spots along the edge. The note has no folds or creases. The note has no pinholes, no graffiti, no tears, and no splits. The note retains all of its original stiffness, sheen, and crispiness.
