1953 Central Reserve Bank of Peru 10 Soles Banknote Pick Number71a Choice UNC 63
Description: A beautiful choice uncirculated banknote from Peru. This is the Banco Central De Reserva Del Peru banknote dated Lima 16 July 1953. The banknote, which was printed by Thomas De La Rue Co. Ltd, is black in color over a multi-colored underprint. It depicts liberty seated with a shield in one hand and a staff in the other. There is a column to her left with a wreath on top and the staff is topped with her cap in the center of the front. The back is orange and shows the Peruvian arms in the center flanked by the denomination. The front shows the date, three signatures and the serial number. This particular note has the serial number 458231 and is series I15. The note has a security thread along the left edge and has no watermark.
