Description: A nice crisp uncirculated banknote from Hong Kong. This is The Government of Hong Kong one dollar banknote dated June 1, 1956. The banknote which was issued by the "The Government of Hong Kong" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd. has a green design on multicolored underprint with the image of the young Queen Elizabeth II in an oval frame to the right of the front. The back has the same color scheme as the front and displays the denomination in the center as well in all four corners. The front also displays the denomination as well as one signature (Arthur Clarke) in black ink. It also displays the serial number. This particular note has the serial number 2P 683781, displayed twice in black on the front. The note is dated 1st June 1956. The banknote has no watermark that we could find.
