Description: A beautiful about uncirculated banknote issued by The Bank of Scotland. This is the 24 May 1960 issue five pounds currency note. This date represent the last date this type was issued. The banknote is blue on light brown on the front. The front of the note displays a woman seated in the center with arms above and the denomination both in writing and numerals. The back is brown and shows arms and a sail ship within circles. The front also has the serial number and two signatures. This particular note has the serial number 2354 and is series 5/KA. The note is graded by PMG as 53 About Uncirculated EPQ (Excellent Paper Quality) and comes in a plastic holder so labeled.
