1966 No Date Ethiopia 100 Dollar Pick Number 29a Emperor Haile Selassie Crisp About Uncirculated or Better Banknote
Description: A nice crisp about uncirculated or much better Banknote from Ethiopia. This is the no date 1966,one hundred dollar currency note issued by the National Bank of Ethiopia. The front of the banknote is purple on green and multicolored underprint and shows the bust of Emperor Haile Selassie bust to the right. There is a building in the left bottom corner of the front, which represents the of Bet Giorgis in Lalibela. The back, which is purple in color, depicts the image of the Ethiopian Arms which is a crowned lion with a flagged cross in its paw. The banknote does not display the date anywhere. It displays the denomination on both the front and back. It has one signature on the front. This particular note has the serial number B527280, which is displayed in black twice on the front. Condition: I would grade this banknote as a nice crisp about uncirculated with all the details being extremely well preserved. The note retains all of its original sheen, crispiness and stiffness. The note has no folds, no creases, no bumps and no soiling. The corners are intact but they all have minor rounding and hence our grade of about uncirculated instead of a solid crisp uncirculated.
