1978 Hong Kong 10 Dollar Banknote The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Pick Number 182c Good Extremely Fine or Better
Description: A good extremely fine or better banknote from Hong Kong. This is The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation May 1, 1964 ten dollar currency note. The banknote which was issued by the "The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd. has a dark green design on multicolored and orange underprint with the image of a woman holding sheaf of grain within an oval in the top left corner and the arms of Hong Kong left of center of the front. The back is also dark green on multicolored underprint with the image of a bank building in the center and a winged angel on top. This particular note has the serial number 076130 displayed twice on the front and is series JF. The note has two signatures displayed on the front. It is dated 1st May 1964. The banknote has a watermark located in the squared frame to the left on the back, which displays a helmeted warrior's head. Condition: I would grade this banknote as extremely fine or much better with all the details being well preserved. The note has several light vertical folds but no horizontal folds that we could see. It retains most, if not all of its original stiffness, Crispiness and sheen. It is clean with no appreciable soiling and no staining. It has no pinholes and no graffiti. The edges are intact and show no roughness. The note has no tears or splits. The corners are squared, intact with no creasing or folding and minimum rounding, if any.
