Banknote 1913 Bank of Chihuahua Mexico 5 Pesos Miner w/ Drill P# S132 PMG 65 EPQ
Description: A gem crisp uncirculated 65 EPQ banknote from the Bank of the State of Chihuahua in Mexico. This is the 1913 series A five pesos. The banknote, which is black and white with green underprint on the front has a vignette showing a miner using a drill with a light pole behind him in the center. The vignette is surrounded by the denomination on a multicolored underprint. The front has one signature and shows the denomination in all four corners. The back of the note is orange in color and has the arms of Mexico consisting of an eagle with a snake in its beak in the center. The back also shows the denomination on both sides of the seal and in the four corners. This particular note has the serial number 051453 in red displayed twice on the front and is not displayed on the back. The note has only one signature displayed in the middle of the bottom on the front but has no water mark that we could find. The note is graded Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ (Exceptional Paper Quality) by PMG and comes in a plastic holder so labeled.
