Beautiful 1973 Crown Size Silver Coin Panama One Balboa Uncirculated Proof
Description: A beautiful crown size silver coin from Panama. This is the 1973 One or Un Balboa coin displaying the armored bust of Vasco Nunez de Balboa facing left on the obverse. The reverse has the Panamanian National Coat of Arms with markings of silver purity (0.900) and weight (26.73 grams) in the field, the words Republica De Panama along the edge and the date below. It is KM 27 weighing ~26.7 gm and measuring about 38 mm in diameter. The coin has a reeded edge. The coin is beautiful with nice clear fields and no observable wear. This is a rather scarce coin with a mintage of only 30,000. Please carefully review the scans provided as they are part and parcel of our description.
Date: 1973.
Mint: Panama.
Size and weight: This is a silver coin weighing about 26.7 grams of 0.900 silver and measuring ~38 mm in diameter.
References: It is KM #27.
Condition: I would grade the coin as a beautiful uncirculated proof or better with no observable wear. The coin has a few scratches and some bag marks in the fields. It retains all of the detail of the design and has beautiful clear fields. The coin looks much better than the photos suggest and would make a great addition to your collection.
